Brume Orpin is a Fine Perfumery Maison<\/strong> committed to a sustainable, sensory form of luxury that combines olfactory creativity, eco-friendly chemistry, and French know-how.<\/p>\n

To mark its launch, it asked FPM France to design some exceptional bespoke trunks<\/strong>that showcase its fragrances and candles.<\/p>\n

Steered by its rare degree of rigor and its bold ecological awareness, the Maison\u2019s fragrances are made of short-circuit, locally-sourced biodegradable ingredients,<\/strong> from Bulgarian rose to French wheat bran. Working with Symrise laboratories, Brume Orpin develops formulas with limited allergens and devoid of any controversial ingredients.<\/p>\n

This approach even applies to everything that surrounds the product: the bottles are made of mass-tinted glass etched without any additives, the stoppers are single-material galalith, the inks are seaweed-based and biosourced, and the cases are expanded cork \u2013 all designed in France with partners specializing in niche crafts. To celebrate its launch, Brume Orpin<\/strong> entrusted us with making two large-scale, exceptional trunks.<\/strong> These three-fold creations render the Maison\u2019s universe into a sober, sensory and cutting-edge piece of craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery detail reflects the founding values of Brume Orpin: respect, authenticity, sustainable beauty. For this launch, I wanted a case that tells as much of a story as the fragrance it contains,\u201d explained Tiphaine Cogez Cousseau.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The structure is made of French poplar plywood,<\/strong>which we hand-painted in our workshop<\/strong> near Paris. The choice of a deep green hue resonates deeply with Brume Orpin\u2019s visual identity.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trunk\u2019s exterior is adorned with a precisely riveted hot-marked<\/strong>logo plaque. Its golden hardware<\/strong> draws elegant and assertive lines. A discreetly-integrated folding handle<\/strong> adds a final flourish to the trunk\u2019s careful aesthetic continuity.<\/p>\n

Opening the trunk reveals a monogrammed pattern<\/strong> delicately printed onto a pulpboard framework. Hand-painted wooden arches<\/strong>elegantly embrace the space within, while subtle alcoves inlaid with finely grooved gold mirrors reflect light and magnify the fragrances and candles.<\/p>\n

In addition to these exceptional fragrance trunks, FPM also designed prop trunks intended as a decorative<\/strong>background for the brand\u2019s launch. Made of the same French poplar plywood,<\/strong>these items were hand-lacquered<\/strong>by FPM France, matching the signature shades of Brume Orpin packaging.<\/p>\n

Each piece was sourced and made in France<\/strong>respecting the Maison\u2019s ethical, aesthetic and environmental commitments in partnership with FPM. The trunks were drawn up according to eco-design principles, using sustainable materials as part of a carbon footprint reduction approach in line with our targets. They are more than just containers \u2013 they are a manifesto for a contemporary form of Fine Perfumery,<\/strong>one that dares to combine creativity, top-level craftsmanship, and responsible innovation.<\/p>\n
