2025 Student Design Contest<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here at FPM France, we believe that innovation blossoms when our expertise meets the younger generation\u2019s creativity. That\u2019s why we launched the 2nd annual packaging design contest<\/strong> in collaboration with the L\u00e9onard de Vinci Campus in Antibes, and specifically their DNMADE course specializing in object design. The 2025 participants were challenged withreinventing a prestigious Wine & Spirits case<\/strong>while incorporating the ideas of eco-design, sustainability, and the consumer\u2019s desire to keep the case.<\/p>\n

A demanding project that reflects market reality<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The project brief invited students to design an object that meets several criteria. It had to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • protect an exceptional bottle (with a value of \u20ac2,000 - \u20ac5,000)<\/li>\n
  • display a brand\u2019s story and identity<\/li>\n
  • be produced in a 5,000-piece run<\/li>\n
  • and adopt an eco-friendly approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    From oak cask to designer lamp: the winning case<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \u201cFor my project, I chose a prestigious wine estate. I was inspired by the Maison\u2019s traditional barrels and revisited their shape using four arched oak blades. The number four, which comes up often in the estate\u2019s history, became a guiding principle in my design. I wanted to combine tradition (represented by wood) with modernity (embodied by steel). The case turns into a lamp base, allowing its lifespan to last well beyond the sampling of its contents.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
